What is Resource Advising?
There are many resources available, but it's likely you aren't aware of all of them. Whether you're dealing with challenges or looking to explore opportunities, we're here to help.
We pride ourselves in being experienced, well-connected, and ready to support. Just send a quick message; we're here to help!
A safe home environment is one of the primary predictors of success and well-being. You deserve to live in a space where your gender identity and sexual orientation are affirmed. That is why we have developed the Safe Housing Project, which has helped hundreds find or create LGBTQ+ friendly homes.
Our open closet is available for anyone to get free clothes and experiment with different gender expressions. Everyone is welcome to use the closet.
Where do I find it?
The Open Closet makes an appearance at our events. You can also check it out for free for your own event!
Reach out if you would like to donate, check out the closet, or find out about where the closet will be next!
Cougar Pride Center is run by a "Cooperative of Members", aka the "Co-op". Members are voted in, and then they have an equal voice in the decisions of the organization.
Joining the Co-op is a great opportunity to make friends and make a difference. We have volunteer opportunities for all levels of commitment. By volunteering, you can cultivate various skills, earn service hours, and enhance your resume.
You can also join our monthly coordination meetings, "Cookies with the Co-op", to get involved and meet the crew.
(Details posted in the Discord and on our Instagram)
Snack Time is a weekly safe space to study, do homework, eat some snacks, and just be yourself.

Reach out if you need help finding it or have any questions.
If you want to bring back the choir, send us a message!
Rainbow Chorus is a space for people to find friends, have fun, and inspire others through music.
Anyone can be a part of the choir. UVU students, alumni, allies, experienced singers, beginners; anyone who is interested is welcome to participate.
Got an idea? Let’s make it happen.
Want to start a book club, host a craft night, or plan a small queer gathering, but need a bit of support? Cougar Pride Center is now offering mini grants and advising to help you launch your event or group.
Let’s build something together.
We offer mini-grants to help with costs associated with gender-affirming care. If you would like help covering the costs for things such as medications, blood work, or doctor's appointments, fill out our form and we'll be in contact with you.
You may donate to the fund on our donate page by including "Trans Grants" in your note.
