The primary way we connect people with safe housing is through the survey. This survey collects data that our volunteer Safe Housing Project Coordinator then uses to connect people. If you need safe housing, or are offering safe housing, fill out the survey!
We also host Safe Housing Mixers to help facilitate housing connections. These events provide a space to meet others and connect with potential roommates. Mixers are held approximately every six months, with details shared on our Instagram.
We also have an online community through Discord. This is a place where community members can connect, share resources, and find housing opportunities. If you are unfamiliar with Discord, you can reach out to others in the discord for help!
We understand that housing can be one of the most stressful aspects of life, and our goal is to make the search easier for you.
If you need additional support or are facing an emergency, please reach out to us via email.
The Safe Housing Project helps individuals find affirming and supportive living spaces where they can feel physically and emotionally safe. We do this by:
collecting survey responses and matching those with compatible needs,
facilitating connections through safe housing mixers,
facilitating connections through our community discord,
and helping people directly through our email.
We also have strong community connections and can assist with emergency housing when needed.
